G6 Series, freeboards for park.

2009 opened with Gravitis carbon arms for freeboard trucks, 2010 as much conservative as much innovative, with microcasters, lowered baseplates, precision axles. These to become valid solutions in downhill and cruising: Freeboarding is finally strictly related to skateboarding. Not only, by featuring a ride 3 centimetres close to ground, Freeboard reaches the highest similarity to snowboard today: grab the deck while the other edge cuts the snow, but it's tarmac. Drop on nose/tail over coping as on your snowboard. The caster bolt is a kingpin, and not free to turn, the decks change shape, the boards light.

Freeboard

Gravitis complete boards have decks with mellow nose & tail to give riders the possibility to drop coping like snowboards on the lip. This thanks to the very compact size of trucks, which measure half of freeride ones.

The proprietary G6 trucks design, is the first committed to freestyle and three centimetres lower than other brands, for a whole control and simulating snowboards by balancing on edges better than others¹.

Speedboard

This year's longskates trucks show the brand new G6 Series freeboard design, and maintain the proprietary G5¹ double kingpin inclination, to split and un/wedge as wanted or required.

The robust baseplates show the same G6 drop-in mount for kingpin, a M10 fast tight tread. The longboard G6 trucks turn smooth even if with classic geometry, because of its minimalistic accurate hanger/pivot design. The new geometry features the lowest (3cm) and most direct turning axle ever.

Lugeboard

Gravitis has brought camber to skateboarding. This is a mandatory parameter to setup in downhill competitions, like is in car racing.

As much important as common setup now, to consider on each track type and to mount the required camber axles: eg. -4 degrees axle¹ to the front and -2 to the rear truck on a fast track.

Towboard

Gravitis has showed up with tow.:er at the Italian Skimboard/snowboard fairs in 2009.

Gravitis is currently showing the new handles/cables in Alps and Dolomiti winter events.

Mainstream Presence

Gravitis was first a renowned gravity sports magazine and reconverted in sporting goods brand in year 2007, but has maintained publishing office, owner and chief executive. Broox, is also member 11463 of Italian ROC (Registry of Operators in Communication). Today Gravitis has its internal Press Office (Freeworld magazine will end in march 2010) to represent individual riders tru the most important snowboard, skateboard and surfboard magazines.
