Gravitis into skate/freeboarding history

on Tuesday, 22 Jun 2010 22:57:10 GMT

The innovative trucks by Gravitis, the Italian based brand, which today brings to the next level the downhill art: the G7 trucks, for longboard/lugeboard and freeboard pro-compitions have been unveiled.

"It's a great day, you cannot imagine our excitement to this whole project" says Al Grippaldi at Broox, who desiged it, "the G7 is all joined, from geometries to the logo with double lines like its alu shapes, rides like no other before, and does offer full availability to rider's tuning in terms of changing kingpin inclination, having reverse cambered axles or just the most precise and solid series truck. Can't wait to take my Lott classic board this weekend and ride 'em with the 78a 51mm wide wheels."

We'll have a detailed report of the G7 trucks for downhill racing soon here, and also of the G7 bases for freeboard, which differ just by the base wheel short added tail with a revo-arm in place of the common caster, and spare balls in place of the inner bearings, totally free of friction.

The G7 trucks use 2 soft barrel bushings placed horizontally, and one 8.8 kingpin to the most precise steering system ever invented, not only, the entire turning momentum is forced by the soft bushings which function like shock absorbers at high-speed tarmac bumps: the suspension effect is immediately perceived doing landings on freeboard jumps.

The G7 freeboard or longboard trucks are already available in Gravitis authorized dealers(next week), axles are available in 2 versions, zero camber or bent ones, in 7"-8"-10" internal width.
