![]() G7 is an entire new design. Gravitis has kept stand-by its catalog as trucks/hooks/axles have wide tuning possibilities open, and it is early even to say how big this scheme is gonna be, in result of the IGSA WR Downhill season first. Checkout the first few sketches above and their explanation below: The design shows a longitudinal spinal concavity from the front to rear of the trucks, hidden in the middle by the barrel bushings: here the two holes of the main axle-kingpin, an 8.8 grade bolt, to provide two steering inclinations each base. On removing the axle kingpin, it can be extracted very easily without tools, and replaced by a cambered one. By splitting the axles of 180 degrees the same axle provides a positive camber or a negative one (bottom one). G7 are the most specialistic trucks for speedboards and some lugeboards, as they feature the lowest height for the deck: not only the Pro rider can tune height as wanted but a classic Topmount features a lower height even of a Dropmount/Dropthrough. The most interesting feature of G7 geometry is that axle remain distant from the base by the barrel bushings and these absorb the tarmac bumps at high speed: for this reason the inner axle kingpin is not stressed at all, neither the aluminum baseplate, at any turning angle. ![]() G79 freeboard mounting freeboard G7's.
